I'm Darth Draconis, Sith practitioner. I don't get around to all the different communities like I used to, but I came across a link to this place and I liked the looks of it. Nice place you've got set up here. A bit about me: I've been a practicing Sith for, oh, probably close to a decade now, and have been active in a number of communities for most of that time. It's a path I chose before I nnew there were other force realists, and one I've lived by unflinchingly ever since I made the choice to. From reading Silmerion's intro thread, that solitary beginning seems to be something we have in common.
I thought about listing my past affiliations, but honestly, I can't even remember all of them.
If it's of any interest to anyone I'll give it a shot, but otherwise I'll just focus on the present:
Until recently, I was an active member of the Force Academy - I'm still a member, but don't bother posting there much anymore.
Before, during, and after being an active member there, I've been involved with my home site: Order of the Sith.
I have my blog, a playground to litter with half-finished thoughts, old lectures, or whatever else I want to put there.
There's twitter and facebook, but those are really just... means to an end. Fun, sometimes, but my only real ties nowadays are to OotS.
I don't figure a whole lot of details are relevant beyond that, unless you're curious.
In which case, feel free to ask questions.
So, what else? Perhaps an answer to the question of 'why am I here?'. I suppose part of it is because of the whispers I've heard about Je'daii. Not my kind of thing, personally, but I've always been interested in alternative groups relating to force realism. And this place, in some ways, brings back memories of another (not so successful, but similarly intended) inclusive site someone I worked with for a while tried to get off the ground. The Je'daii element is new, of course, but the welcoming and incorporation of Sith, Jedi, and others, is definitely a parallel.
I can't say for sure that I'll be very active here, but I thought I'd post an introduction proper.
