Hey I'd like to say first that what EVER you think a student of the Force would need to take with them every day this would would be the place to talk about it! I mean physical items not inner self necessities ^-^
Okay to me the first thing I would suggest having is a nice strong leather belt (or what ever you like). Make sure that you can add attachments to it! I was gifted a work belt with a pouch for holding tools and stuff. The holder I found to be to big and clunky and a little to "out there", so i had an old pair of cargo shorts and cut out a side pocket and attached it to the belt. I use this to hold my wallet and phone or what ever else I need to carry.
other things attached to my belt are...
-knife: a multi took in a holder that attaches to my belt. This comes in a lot of use sometimes in the oddest ways but its always good to have one.
-Med kit: I have an other attachment to my belt which is a tick tough cloth pouch that can be easily accessible which has some basic med kit supplies.
-bandades (various sizes)
-anti biotic ointment
-tweezers
-camping utensils
-ace bandage
-emergency blanket
-lighter
as you can see it is not a whole lot but quite useful items in a time of need.
-crystals: I have a leather pouch to hold my healing stones in, I use them for various situations.
Next I would suggest having some knee high boots (mine are pleather). I suggest buying waterproof ones or at least buying something to seal them with incase your tranching around in something not so blest. If you are not interested in having large boots then I suggest having some good shoes you can run and fight in (if necessary). I have boots because I am constantly on the move and end up in the mountains quite a lot and they can be used for extra protection against what ever (weather/threats).
Next I suggest investing in a scarf, or something that you can cover your head and face with for different reasons even finding an old jacket that has a detachable hood and making something to cover the face that attaches to it could be an easy way to do this. You can even keep it in a purse or bag if you don't feel like warring it. Reasons I suggest this...
-protection from the environment: wether it is cold, dust, smoke, or what ever else can enter your lungs covering your face can and will help. This will not stop everything but will help in some instances. Exp: I go out to the desert about once a month with Moon tribe, it gets quite cold at night and dust is EVERYWHERE and theres nothing like blowing your nose and it being blackened with dirt. Along with IT CAN GET COLD! Keeping your neck head and face worm is really worth it.
-concealing your identity: Were I live it can get kinda dangerous at night so I wrap my scarf around my face and head so just incase a threat does come my way they wont be able to recognize me if they where to just see me walking around.
Loos fitting pants: I ware cotton/cloth bottoms all the time, if it is cold (or is going to be) I ware two of them. They are supper comfortable and I can go/do anything in them. Grate for running and exercising and all around *comfort! <-- * main reason why. Plus loos fitting clothes allow for the Force to flow better ^^
loos fitting shirts: again I love cotton and wool! they breath well and layering them is nice! I usually ware long sleeves to help keep the sun off my skin in summer and keep the warmth in during winter, and have a lovely blue wool sweater on top (as seen in profile pic).
A nice long jacket: I have an army green trench cote which I ware when it gets cold and if I need to use it as a blanket or just wrap my self in it or if I get lost somewhere it would work nicely as well!
I find these things to be my basic equipment that I use every day. plan simple and can be quite stylish depending oh how you choose to look or what you buy=)
If I am going on an adventure my equipment increases.
back pack: these come in all shapes and sizes but I suggest buying a backpacking backpack if you are going to be traveling/camping/ect. They are durable and some are very easily secured so pick pockets cant get in. They can hold a bunch of supplies what you would need as well Downside- some people may look at you as a grater target if you have a fat pack on your back. So what might I have in my pack?
-Clothes: again, light loos fitting clothes that you can layer so that they don't take up a bunch of room and still be warm/cool. No big puffy jackets but a wool sweater with some long sleeves underneath and a wind brake jacket usually do the trick (been in freezing weather and still a little warm with enough underneath)
-cooking supplies: you can buy camping gear online or at a store, they usually come with two pans, a cup, a bowl, and mine has a separating handle clamp that detaches so it doesn't get hot while on the fire.
-water filter: there are many different types of water filtration systems from iodine tabs to hand pumps, even just a filtered straw! VERRY IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE OUT AND ABOUT IN NATURE. You never know when you will need more water.
-sleeping bag: I suggest not having a down sleeping bag because if it gets wet it will be ruined and not work anymore (they get all clumpy). Know where you are going/live and deiced what temp rang for the sleeping bag you will need. I suggest at least a 32 degree bag.
-med kit: these can be very extensive and they have pre-made kits you can buy or you can customize your own!
-fire starter: I suggest flit and nothing else besides it! lighters and matches are grand but they WILL run out.
-knife: Get your self at least a six inch durable knife, they will come in handy for many things, as well as a multi-tool.
-hatchet: never know when you need to chop wood! these come in all sizes and waits look for one thats about 2-4 pounds
-cord: this is good for many things and you WILL end up needing some^-^
-tent: if your going by your self camping or what ever it is I suggest buying a single person tent they are about 4 pounds. If your going with some one else get a 2-3 person tent and split the wait between the two.
-food/water: get some camping food (freeze dried) and some bottles of water or a jug/container. You need water for drinking and cooking.
-maps: just some simple maps of the area local or not=)
any other suggestions well welcomed!
