So, you have found yourself, out of curiosity, in yet another force community.
You might think about joining, but why should you, when there are so many others, so much more open, so much more active and...so much more boring.
I will tell YOU why you should join.
Let us start this off with...we are based on Je'daii, they existed before both Jedi and Sith from Star Wars, and they were based on a planet called Tython who had two orbiting moons named Ashla and Bogan.
Getting inspired by the moons, they based the philosophies of the Light side (which would later become the base of Jedi) on Ashla, and the Dark side (that would later become the base of Sith) on Bogan.
They were Jedi and Sith precursors, they believed that both sides of the Force should be balanced to attain enlightenment.
That is pretty neat, because many Force Realists I know, who are not crazy zealots, want a more balanced take on the Jedi/Sith.
Let us take a look at the Je'daii Code;
That is pretty cool, I find this code pretty fucking awesome.
I founded this Je'daii Temple because Sithism, Jediism and Shadow Jediism left me wanting, they often feel heavily connected primarily on fiction and often not so much on what the fiction it was based on.
That is the problem with fiction and paths based on fiction, they are messy, often vague and have huge gaps.
I feel like we need to look at what they are based on and follow these concepts instead of following the fiction with the dedication so many does.
Jediism was founded by...I don't know why, but he or she gotta be a swell person to be around, as I greatly respect that people bring fiction, theory, into reality.
It is a path based on Jedi from Star Wars, and Jedi are an archetype being inspired by many different cultures and practices, such as Knights and Asian philosophy.
Jedi of real life tend to be quite agreeable folks, if not a little naive, and it have been growing over the years, today there are several serious sites and communities out there dedicated to Jedi, or at least Force Realism.
Then we have the Sith, who are like the bad guys of Star Wars, and of course people would have to go base another religion based on them.
In reality they are...well, often batshit insane.
But they also tend to have some very interesting people, so they are not all anarchists with a love for destruction, mayhem, sadism, rabid taste for blood and imaginary power.
I myself am a Sithist, and Councilor Larken is a Darth, then we have perfect examples of Sithism done right, as the texts of Vidyus Silus (a little mad I heard, but very interesting) and Darth Draconis.
Shadow Jedi have left me wanting, because their take on balance is not how I would like to perceive balance.
Je'daiism, which is a field I am currently pioneering with this site, I believe that a mix of both Light and Dark should be taught in balance to achieve enlightenment, it should suck in and sort through philosophies from many different sources, while staying in line with the base it is based on (Je'daii).
Scion, the main path of my life is very similar, and often intersect, Je'daii, that is why I believe I would make a fairly decent teacher of the path, making a lite variant of my experiences and philosophy.
Another thing is that we are merely basing the values on Je'daii, we want to become what they were in essence.
Most of us can agree on the fact that the magic powers of the Force depicted in the movies and games are pretty much impossible, so strip that away and what do we get?
To being with, Je'daii were pretty capable of surviving, and they were travelers.
So I would want camping and survival courses to be of importance, and we can all agree that being able to survive is pretty good knowledge.
Also observing Nature and its conditions would be a good return to the roots that the archetype of Je'daii is based on.
So yea, I would say this Je'daii Temple is pretty serious.
Second, you really want to join us because we want to build it into a real thing.
Sure, we have gone through some hilarious bumps, but we are still around.
As a result, we want to see if YOU have the patience to wait for a month to clear Padawan state and climb the ladder.
We want to know if you have it in you, to rank up to become a Je'daii Ranger.
And if you want to go really loco, you may want to keep climbing to become a Je'daii Knight, or even prove that you are balls to the wall badass and become a Master.
Third, there is another organization that will help this Je'daii Temple expand, that is even more badass than the Je'daii (mainly because we are not a fictional entity and have much greater freedom in terms of copyright and much higher standards).
Fourth, because seriously, what are you doing in life that can be more giving than this?
Also, we have hidden the main forums, so that only people who are truly willing to be around will be allowed to take classes and start working their way up.
So join, life is not worth living if you ain't committing to great and glorious work.
"That sounds awesome, where do I sign up".
Well, register an account and write an introduction (we want details) in the Introduction section.
After that you are expected to show activity for a week on the visible boards, if you can show that tiny, but totally worth it, sign of patience, you will most likely be promoted "Padawan".
I say most likely, because if you are considered "unfit", you are not added until you can show that you actually want to join, remember that us putting time on you must be worth the effort.
After that it is all about studying and showing that you can be a great addition the Temple, whereas you may be promoted to Journeyer, and start working your way up to become a fully fledged member of the Temple.
Here, your titles actually mean something, as you are only given them if you truly deserve them.

There is no ignorance; there is knowledge.
There is no fear; there is power.
I am the heart of the Force.
I am the revealing fire of light.
I am the mystery of darkness
In balance with chaos and harmony,
Immortal in the Force.
